2010 started off as another cooler than average vintage but was hit with some high temperatures during the summer to ripen the grapes to full maturity. The 2010 Chimera has a deep ruby red color, aromas of cherry cola, brambly blackberry, rose petal, dark fruits, violets, orange blossoms, and a touch of rum raisin. Rich, full and decadent flavors of crème brulee, cranberry, a hint of bacon fat and cotton candy followed by a sweet velvety finish. Balanced acid and tannins make this a very pure and enjoyable Pinot Noir.
